Juventus are preparing for a new round of discussions with Ligue 1 side Lille over Portuguese defender Tiago Djalo on Friday, with the Bianconeri willing to offer a small fee in compensation for the centre-back, whose contract expires at the end of the 2023-24 season.
According to updates on Friday morning, Juve are willing to offer a fee of €3m plus bonuses for the 23-year-old, who has not featured competitively since March following a cruciate ligament injury at the end of last season.
Despite his absence, Djalo has attracted plenty of interest from Serie A sides over the last few months, as Inter have also been plotting a move.
The Nerazzurri had been planning on bringing Djalo to San Siro on a free transfer upon the expiry of his contract in the summer.
Djalo had also been happy to join Inter according to recent reports, however, he does also wish to return to regular first-team action as quickly as possible, which may not be the case if he stays with Lille beyond January.
