Fanatics has a sale with up to 65% off running throughout Tuesday so Football Italia decided to take a closer a look and work out how much a full Milan 2021-22 home kit would cost when using code SWEET to take advantage of the savings on offer.

When the 2021-22 Milan home kit was launched, Milan made a point of celebrating how closely it mirrored the character of the city the Rossoneri call home. “Milan as a club is a mirror of the energy and spirit of the city of Milan,” Casper Stylsvig, the club’s chief revenue officer said. “Once again PUMA’s new jersey captures the true essence of Milan, a unique blend of football, fashion and culture that truly sets this club and this city apart.”

It’s a good-looking kit, to be sure. It can’t be easy to find new ways to interpret the red-and-black stripes Milan are known for, but the manufacturer managed it here. That’s always helpful – some supporters may buy the new replica kit no matter what, but it’s better if it’s actually a kit they like and want to wear.

So how much does it cost? Well, ordinarily the Milan home shirt is £70 with Fanatics. Using code SWEET at checkout, though, drops that price to less than £50 – £46.90 to be exact, a saving of 33%. One of the better-looking Serie A replica shirts for less than £50 is a good start.

On to the shorts – perfect for taking to the pitch with some mates and pretending you’re Zlatan Ibrahimovic, just be careful trying any flying kung fu kick goals. Ordinarily retailing at £35, they go down to £23.45 with code SWEET, which works out at a third off the retail price.

As for the socks, it’s a similar story. Ordinarily retailing at £16, they fall to £10.72 with code SWEET – 33% off. Going full kit might not always be the best idea if you’re not actually playing a game of football but the Fanatics sale and the savings therein mean it’s a chance to round out the collection. Plus, turn up at San Siro in the complete ensemble and you’ll be ready if Milan coach Stefano Pioli suffers an injury crisis and needs to pick a fan to play up front, Hollywood-style.

In total, then, the Milan 2021-22 full home kit costs £81.07 in the Fanatics sale, a saving of almost £40 on the usual price of £121. That’s only with code SWEET at checkout.

Not a Milan fan? Fear not, there are a range of Serie A teams in the Fanatics sale – Inter, Juventus, Roma and Fiorentina – and discounts apply there too. There are also reductions on items not in the sale but note, the code cannot be used in conjunction with other discounts and some exceptions may apply.
