The Catalans signed Matheus Pereira and Miralem Pjanic from Juventus last season and they still owe the Old Lady almost €9m for outstanding payments on their transfers.

The Brazilian midfielder moved to the Nou Camp in a swap deal with Alejandro Marques while Pjanic completed his transfer to Barcelona in exchange for Arthur.

Barcelona must pay Juventus €9m before the end of the financial year: €4.8m for Pjanic and €4.7 for Matheus Pereira.

Barcelona still owe the Serie A giants €52.8m for Pjanic’s transfer, but in this case the payment is due beyond the financial year.
