Filip Kostic is on the verge of joining Juventus although West Ham had made a better offer for Eintracht Frankfurt, reports Sky Sport Italia.

The 29-year-old is set to join the Bianconeri for €16-17m, including add-ons, while the Hammers had reportedly made a bid exceeding €20m.

However, Sky Sport Italia reports that the Serbian winger strongly wanted to join the Bianconeri and had reached an agreement with the Serie A giants before the two clubs shook hands over his final transfer fee.

The player’s agent Alessandro Lucci is the representative of Juventus’ Leonardo Bonucci and Mattia Perin and West Ham’s new signing Gianluca Scamacca.

Kostic is expected to sign a three-year deal worth €3.5m with the Old Lady. He hasn’t been called up for the upcoming European Supercup Final between Eintracht and Real Madrid.

He should arrive in Turin today and undergo his medical with the Bianconeri tomorrow, being available for the Serie A opener against Sassuolo next Monday.
