Juventus have long been interested in Leandro Paredes and this summer might be the right time to make a move for the Paris Saint-Germain man, although they’ll need to make a little space first.

The French giants have a long list of players they’re ready to sell this summer and despite the activation of a contract extension clause tying him to the club until 2024, Paredes is on this list. PSG value the 28-year-old at around €20m, figures that don’t frighten Juventus, and the possible inclusion of Moise Kean in a deal also facilitates things.

As highlighted by Calciomercato.com, Juventus’ main concern is the lack of space in their midfield. The club need to free up at least one spot and a number of players could be shown the door in the coming weeks.

Arthur is unwanted by Massimiliano Allegri but his high wages make a departure difficult for the time being. Adrien Rabiot could also be sold and his mother and agent Veronique is already exploring a possible move.

Denis Zakaria, who has offers worth around €15m, and Weston McKennie are also not considered unsellable, so a convincing offer could see either leave.

Finally there’s Aaron Ramsey; the Welshman certainly won’t feature under Allegri next campaign and talks are now ongoing to terminate his contract. The last meeting between the two parties revealed a distance of €2m between request and offer and a new round of negotiations will kick off soon.

  1. Totally superfluous purchase if it materializes. This guy is the epitome of a lethargic nonchalant footballer, and his numbers over the past few seasons inspire anything but confidence. I don’t understand Allegri’s obsession with experience and the Regista position in its literal sense (so archaic and outdated). I thought he was actually studying and learning during his two year hiatus, but it seems to me he just wants to keep repeating the same thing.

  2. Have no idea why juve are after these allrounder midfeilders for the registra position. Paredes is bang on average and not good enough for us. We should be looking at Rueben Neves, jorginho, vitinha, gundagon, merino zazon, Matheus Nunes, Ezo Fernandez, Kovacic.

@Omar – i agree with you regarding allegri and the reistra position, however he snt really involved in buying players much – its the board – he just tells the board which positions of players he needs and the board do the rest=choosing the player

  3. Why this sheet is needed? He have no money and need to raise his family? 5 year 7 million contract? He can work in factory, why we have to give him luxury life? Is it charity organisation in juve?

  4. No surprise. Everything went downhill after Don Beppe was tossed aside. Very clear that PhD Max only has vision for 1Mbps calcio. I say bring him in, team up with Rabiot Zidane and 360 Arthur. That trio would dominate Europe for a decade lol. Joke of a football club. Did not want to spend a small fee on Mbappe and Haaland. Look where they are now. Not to worry Icardi will also be arriving but when he is 43 years young.

  5. You are basically naming a long list of players who just recently changed club?????
Remember Paredes allready has Italian experience and know the language ect.
And when you can start for Argentina you most definitely is good enough for Juve… Bring in Paredes!!

  6. Don Beppe also bought players like Hernanes so he’s certainly not infallible. In fact, he’s just about to land Aldi Messi for Inter Medical to keep busy so let’s stay with some Calmaaaaa!!

  7. Juve turning into a home for rejects coming from rubbish clubs if this guy arrives too.

And we wonder why Italian clubs are a laughing stock in the CL and EL nowadays.

  8. LORD ALLEGRI PATRON SAINT OF SLOW BALL you feel that you are fantastic comedian but I never understand what sheet you are writting, maybe you are from india or bangladesh and feel you know english language?
