How Inter are preparing for Serie A title decider

Inter will resume training tomorrow as Simone Inzaghi has given two days off to his players after their win over Cagliari on Sunday.

The Nerazzurri’s title hopes are still alive but will need to beat Sampdoria in the final game of the season on Sunday, hoping to see Milan lose against Sassuolo at the Mapei Stadium.

Inzaghi wants to ease the pressure on his players and, for this reason, he has given them two days off following their win over Cagliari, meaning his boys will return to training tomorrow.

According to La Gazzetta dello Sport and Sky Sport Italia, the Italian tactician has decided to give an extra day off to his players to help them recover mental energies. Despite this, somebody could still show up at the Pinetina today to work on the day off.

It already happened last week, when more than 10 players trained the day after the Coppa Italia win over Juventus. Inter will train once a day until Sunday when they host Samp in the final Serie A game of the season.

According to the report, the team feels confident and motivated. Players dream of securing a domestic treble but know it won’t only depend on them.
