There will be 4,300 people allowed into the Mapei Stadium for the Coppa Italia Final between Juventus and Atalanta on May 19, but not everyone can buy a ticket.

This will represent the biggest crowd at a football match in Italy since March 2020, when the pandemic first hit.

The Italian Government has confirmed a special dispensation for this game to have a crowd, as they are preparing to ease restrictions ahead of Euro 2020 in June.

The number 4,300 represents 20 per cent of the stadium capacity, excluding those who are working on the event.

Not everyone will be able to enter or even apply for tickets, as they must first install an app called Mitiga, with proof of either a negative COVID-19 test taken 48 hours before kick-off or that both doses of the vaccine have been administered.

Also acceptable will be a medical certificate confirming the person has recovered from COVID within the last six months.

The app will generate a QR code that will be checked upon entry to the stadium.

The tickets will be for four sections of the stadium, to allow for social distancing, with the tribuna nord area reserved for Atalanta fans and the tribuna sud for Juventus supporters.
