Tajon Buchanan will undergo his medical with Inter on Thursday and, as highlighted by La Gazzetta dello Sport, he can help the Nerazzurri solve their ‘dribbling’ problem this season.
The Serie A giants are ready to welcome the Canada international who will land in Milan on Thursday rather than Wednesday. He will immediately undergo his medical examinations with the Nerazzurri and sign a four-and-a-half-year deal at the Stadio Meazza.
Buchanan started his professional career as an attacking winger but will be deployed as a right wing-back by Simone Inzaghi at Inter.
His former coach at New England Revolution, Bruce Arena, has highlighted that Buchanan’s best qualities are his “technique and athleticism”, which, on paper, will help the Nerazzurri win more one-to-one duels on the right flank.

It is something the Serie A giants desperately need despite their excellent performances this season.
Gazzetta, in fact, highlights that Marcus Thuram is the best Inter player for successful dribbles in Serie A this term, but the French striker only ranks 17th. Thuram has dribbled past a direct opponent 21 times this term, while the best in the league, Matias Soulé, has managed 63.
Inter players have only combined just 110 successful dribbles this season, with the Nerazzurri ranking 16th.
Considering that Buchanan reached a top speed of 35 km/h during a Champions League game with Club Brugge last season, Gazzetta claims the 24-year-old’s pace can surely be an added value for the Nerazzurri in the second part of the campaign when he will replace the injured Juan Cuadrado and challenge Denzel Dumfries for a starting spot.
