Inter must expect a very hostile reception at the Nou Camp tomorrow after their controversial 1-0 win over Barcelona at San Siro last week.

Simone Inzaghi’s boys are aware that a draw in Spain could be enough to go beyond the group stage after last week’s victory at the Stadio Meazza.

It was one of the most controversial matches of the campaign as the Catalans had a goal disallowed, while their appeals for a penalty kick were ignored despite a Denzel Dumfries’ handball that appeared to be quite evident.

Barcelona President Joan Laporta has claimed this week that the refereeing at San Siro was ‘shameful’ adding that he has informed UEFA about the Catalans’ concerns.

Multiple reports in Italy suggest that Inter are unhappy with how Barcelona directors have been dealing with the incident, even if the La Liga giants eventually decided not to report referee Slavko Vincic to UEFA.

The Catalans can’t afford the second consecutive elimination from the Champions League group stage, so the atmosphere will be incandescent at the Nou Camp tomorrow night.

Barcelona reacted to last week’s loss with an Instagram post where they said fans would be their ’12th man’ in the return leg.

Their supporters are already in the mood as they were heard singing insulting chants against the Nerazzurri in their 1-0 victory over Celta Vigo on Sunday.

The Grada d’Animaciò, the group of the most radical Barcelona fans, also made an appeal on social media, asking to ‘support the team as they deserve’, adding a picture that needs no explanation.
