“It was a dream to get the World Cup and I’m only sorry to the people of Honduras that I couldn’t get a victory here in Brazil.

“We had a lot of the ball, but we didn’t convert that into goals. We had a few good chances, but it’s one thing creating chances and another thing taking them.
“We played a risky strategy tonight in order to try to achieve a dream of winning a match here, but this gave Switzerland opportunities too.”
The Swiss went through thanks to that result and will face Argentina in the Round of 16.
