Watford making a splash on the Serie A market, as after Davide Santon and Zdravko Kuzmanovic, they’re close to Roma defender Jose Holebas.
According to Tuttomercatoweb, the newly-promoted Premier League side are on the verge of securing a deal for Holebas.
The 30-year-old left-back only joined Roma last summer for around €1m and impressed with 34 appearances in all club competition.
Now the former Olympiacos man could be moving on already.

He was born in Germany to a Greek father and Uruguayan mother, so sometimes his name is written as Jose Cholevas.
Watford have today also been heavily linked with a double swoop for Inter duo Santon and Kuzmanovic.
The club is owned by the Pozzo family, who also run Udinese in Serie A and Liga side Granada.
