Atalanta striker Rasmus Hojlund will fly to England today to undergo his pre-transfer medicals with Manchester United.

The 20-year-old Danish striker will join the Red Devils in a deal worth around €85m total, ready to sign a long-term contract with the club. He joined Atalanta from Sturm Graz last year for €17.2m, so his sale represents a huge profit for the Bergamo outfit.

Hojlund impressed in his debut season with Atalanta, scoring 10 goals and providing four assists in 34 total appearances. His hefty price tag is reflective of both his potential and the limited options in the number nine market.

As highlighted by Fabrizio Romano, Hojlund will head to England today in order to carry out the usual pre-transfer medicals with Manchester United, ready to complete his move from Atalanta.

Transfer documents have already been exchanged between the clubs and the 20-year-old is ready to sign a five-year contract with an option for a sixth.
