Eriksen has been called up to participate and Hjulmand believes the former Tottenham star will return to ‘his best level’.
“I can’t answer questions about why he is not playing,” Hjulmand said, according to Danish outlet Politiken. “But I wonder, since I know how good he is.
“He is a brilliant player. I believe he can survive anything in his career. I believe, no matter what happens there, we will see him at his best level again.
“Hi quality is hard to hold down. What’s precisely going on, only Antonio Conte and Christian would know.
“If I say more, it would be guessing, and I don’t want to do that.”
Eriksen has only started nine Serie A games since his move to Inter and was in the starting line-up twice in the Europa League last term, when Inter reached the Final in Cologne.
