Gonzalo Higuain insists next week’s showdown with Juventus “is not the most important game of the year” for Napoli.
The Partenopei made history with their eighth consecutive Serie A victory, beating Carpi 1-0 with Pipita’s penalty.
“It was a very difficult match against a Carpi side that was all pegged back in defence,” he told Mediaset Premium.
“We worked hard and had patience until we were able to find a breakthrough.”

Juve have 14 wins on the bounce and surpassed Frosinone 2-0 today, so they go into Saturday’s top of the table clash divided by just two points.
“The important thing is to continue pushing and now we have a week to prepare the next game. We must be calm.
