However, when Higuain came on as a substitute for the last 20 minutes, Coach Gennaro Gattuso refused to say if this had been his final performance in a Rossoneri jersey.
Juventus are reported to have agreed to essentially transfer over the deal Milan had for Higuain – loan at a cost of €18m per season plus €36m option to buy – over to Chelsea.
This would allow the Rossoneri to save €9m on six months of the deal and a further €9m gross in terms of salary.
