Watch the highlights as Italy’s Under-21 side grabbed a precious 3-0 victory away to Norway, with a sensational Tommaso Baldanzi hat-trick.

The Roma midfielder showed what he could do with a trio of fantastic finishes, first culminating a well-worked team move on the Willy Gnonto assist.

He then let that magic left foot get to work, blasting into the roof of the net from a tricky angle and placing a curler into the far top corner from the edge of the box.

This result puts Italy top of the group for Under-21 European Championship qualification on 21 points, followed by the Republic of Ireland on 17 with a game in hand, then Norway on 15.

  1. Azzurifan87 from Big soccer forums called him out a year ago, right after I said he was destined for greatness. We are two peas in a pod.

  2. He’s not destined for greatness, he’s far too small. He looks good against other youngsters, but he’s struggled at Roma for a reason.

  3. Some of the greatest players in sport were “too small”. In Rugby Rob Borrow was a 3/4 pint sized giant. Rest his soul
