Ex-Udinese defender Thomas Heurtaux claims Turkish side Ankaragucu have not paid him for nine months.
Heurtaux joined Ankaragucu last summer but played just five times for the club, who have been beset by financial problems.
“Hello Ankaragucu, thank you for having wished me a happy birthday,” the 31-year-old tweeted.
“If you want to give me a gift, you can pay me one month’s salary [for] the nine that are unpaid. See you on Monday.”

The situation is made more complex by the Verona old boy having two years left on his contract.
Cerci also chimed in, having joined the capital outfit with the Frenchman but went on to make just three League starts as he was dropped for the second half of the campaign.
“While you’re at it, tell them to pay me too,” wrote the former Italy attacker.
However, unlike Heurtaux, he is a free agent after his deal expired and has been linked with Serie B side Salernitana, now coached by ex-Italy CT Giampiero Ventura.
Ankaragucu finished 13th in the Turkish top flight last season, three points clear of relegation.
