“I feel like I’m in great form, I knew I could help the team and it makes me proud to be esteemed.

“I don’t care much about the feedback on our game, what counts is the numbers.”

Hernanes also discussed the aims for the season, and admits finishing top of their Champions League group is crucial for Juve.

“We’re thinking of Saturday, then of course after that we’ll start thinking about how we can win at Sevilla, because one of our objectives is to finish top of the group.

“It will be the first decisive moment of the season, and if we don’t win our fate won’t just be in our hands.”
