Schalke 04 sporting director Horst Heldt insists there has been ‘no new offer’ from Juventus for Julian Draxler.
The Bianconeri have agreed terms with the player for a move to Turin, but had their first offer turned down for the German international.
Reports in Italy had suggested that a new bid had also been rejected, but Heldt denied those suggestions in a Press conference.
“We received an offer for Draxler, which we rejected. That’s out in the open,” the director said ahead of the Bundesliga opener with Wolfsburg.

“We haven’t received a new offer, as has been written in the Italian media.
“We have a verbal agreement with Julian, which we made when we extended his contract in 2013, so I can’t rule anything out until August 31, but we have no intention of offering discounts.”
