Gabriel Heinze is reportedly the latest Roma player to rescind his contract at the club, as Newell’s Old Boys claim he is signing for them.

Heinze is one of a number of first-team players to have been sidelined this week by new Giallorosso Coach Zdenek Zeman and following on from Fabio Simplicio, Juan, Aleandro Rosi and David Pizarro, has reportedly reached an agreement with the club to terminate his contract early.

This is according to Argentine side Newell’s Old Boys, who have announced on their official website that he is cutting ties with the capital club today in order to sign for them.

It is understood that Heinze, who has also been linked with Bologna this summer, has already reached an agreement with the Argentine club, where he first began his career, and will formalise a contract shortly.
