“Capuano is fine, I spoke to him both last night and this morning,” said Avellino President Angelo D’Agostino.

“He is very fired up for Wednesday’s game, an important match that will be held in an anomalous scenario.”

Avellino and Ternana face off in the first Serie C promotion play-off behind closed doors.

The Serie C season was cut short due to the coronavirus pandemic, with three group winners directly promoted to Serie B.

The fourth promotion spot will be decided via the play-offs.
