Most Juventus fans seem to be delighted that Aaron Ramsey is on the verge of joining Rangers and have shared thousands of messages on social media to say goodbye to the former Arsenal star.
The Wales international joined Juventus on a free transfer from the Gunners in 2019, but has failed to live up to expectations during his time in Turin.
Ramsey has been struggling with injuries and complained about Juventus’ medical staff a couple of times while on international duty this season.
The 31-year-old has scored six goals in 70 appearances with the Bianconeri, but has only played five games under Massimiliano Allegri this term, starting only once.
He is one of Juventus’ highest earners with a €7m-a-year salary and Rangers will only pay a part of his wages during his loan spell at the club until the end of the season.
Nevertheless, most Juventus fans are happy to see the Welsh midfielder leave for Scotland and have reacted to his imminent departure on social media. Ramsey is trending in Italy with almost 6,000 tweets in the last few hours.

Honestly. The fact Ramsey chose to go to Glasgow instead of any of the premiere league teams shows what kinda of a flake he really is. Ciao BELLO thanks for everything #juventus #ramsey

Why so many against Rabiot?!
That goal he scored against Milan last season was amazing.
Appreciate a footballer needs to be better than just one goal, but I’ve seen enough to think he’s a decent player.
But Ramsey to Rangers?… ouch. What a fall from grace.
Looks like Cherbini and Arrivabene make a good team afterall !
There is no obligation, so he’ll be back in 5 months. Too soon for champagne. Plus Juve are paying like 70 or 75% of his wages.
Vogel, have you seen how useless Rabiot is? He does so little. 6 goals in 109 appearances. Hardy any tackles. Looks lazy. I have no idea how he gets to stay there.
As for Ramsey, he will be back after 4 months. Rangers cant afford his full (and HUGE) salary , and Ramsey will make sure Juventus pay him. Real money grabber. Possibly even worse than Rabiot
Why did he turn down an array of PL teams and then settle on… Rangers!? He could have went to so many other, better cities and teams.
@Milan 141, because those clubs wanted a permanent transfer and to pay him less. At Rangers he gets to play and keeps getting 7.5m. Win/win for Ramsey.
Big mistake from Juventus, proving one of many.
Maybe coinciding without the brains of Marotta. They seem to be making a high number of mistakes in the market for a good couple of years now, while Inter prosper. Decision makers behind the scenes at repeated fault.
Chiellini & Bonucci appear the only real leaders & the clock is ticking on both. Big revamp at Juventus required, but they will be back sooner rather than later I’m sure.
As for Ramsay, you have to question his desire, lack of motivation. Reminds me of Bale to a degree, attitude not good enough. To me their a disgrace to club football, Wales shouldn’t feel too proud of these boys
