Hans Hateboer believes his time at Atalanta is not over but insists he doesn’t want to play in Serie A forever.
“I’ve never said my time at Atalanta is over or that I want to leave. However, I don’t want to play in Serie A forever,” the Dutch full-back to L’Eco di Bergamo.
“At some point in my career, I’d like to change, I’d like to play in England, Spain or Germany,” the 27-year-old added.

Hateboer has missed 18 games due to an ankle injury this season, but returned to action in La Dea’s 5-0 win over Bologna on Sunday.
“One of my targets is to play the Euros with my national team. It’s one of the reasons why I didn’t want to undergo ankle surgery.
“De Boer told me he hoped I could recover. Therefore I need to get playing time.”
Hateboer joined Atalanta from Groningen for just €1m in 2017. He has two goals and two assists in 25 appearances in all competitions this season with La Dea.
