“It was a good first impression with Hart,” said defender Bovo in a Press conference.

“The communication isn’t perfect yet, mainly because my English is terrible. But he is really likeable and immediately settled into the reality of Toro.

“Consequently we are all truly happy with how he introduced himself in his first few training sessions with us. I am happy to be at Torino because this is a united group of lads.

“We deal with issues together and are all leaders, even those with less experience. Everyone can have their say, there are no hierarchies in the locker room.”

Coach Sinisa Mihajlovic plans to rotate the captain’s armband this season after the departure of Kamil Glik to Monaco.

“We like that, as it gives everyone a sense of responsibility,” added Bovo.

Meanwhile, Mihajlovic revealed that Hart is already starting to communicate with his Toro teammates in Italian.

“He’s very determined and I spoke to him before the signature to ensure he was fired up. I am very happy with Hart and he’s already formed a good rapport with the other lads, communicating in Italian. I am pleased.

“I spoke to Hart because I wanted to understand what mentality he had coming here. Even on the phone he made a good impression. He speaks a little Italian, is learning those 30-40-50 words that you need on the pitch to lead the defence and he’s already using them in training.

“Of course I hope he’s learning them properly and won’t tell the defenders to do the opposite of what he wants…” smiled the Coach.
