The Slovakia international admitted the chairman Giovanni Carnevali and director Francesco Palmieri sold him the project at the MAPEI Stadium.
“I made this choice because I felt that the club and the team are good,” he said at a press conference. “I spoke to the director Palmieri for a long time and he was speaking in a positive way about Sassuolo and the chairman Carnevali and that’s why I chose Sassuolo.”
He is versatile in the attack and has revealed that he prefers to play on the left, despite scoring more from the right.
“Sassuolo is a young, strong team, that’s what I’ve heard. They have very young players,” he said. “I prefer to play at the left, but I have scored more goals cutting in from the right. I can play left and right without problems.”
