Samir Handanovic has started to work as a goalkeeping scout for Inter but soon will tour Europe to start studying various coaches across the continent.

The 39-year-old Slovenian shot stopper hung up his gloves in the summer after his contract drew to a close with the Nerazzurri, ending an 11-year spell with the club. He was briefly linked to various clubs like Lazio before ultimately deciding to retire.

Handanovic has not left his beloved Inter and has already started to work as a goalkeeping scout for the club, keeping an eye on various young talents to help find the next best number one.

As highlighted by Calciomercato.com, Handanovic is set to start travelling around Europe soon as a guest of various coaches as he looks to study and learn to become a coach. He will continue acting as a goalkeeping scout in the meantime.

Talks with Inter have already begun regarding a year of training before returning to coach a youth team, possibly at Under-15 or Under-16 level.
