Inter captain Samir Handanovic feels the Nerazzurri are doing well both ‘mentally and physically’, and are 'determined' ahead of the match against Getafe in the last 16 of the Europa League.

The goalkeeper reiterated the words of coach Antonio Conte and said the Beneamata don’t know where ‘our best will take us’ but that Inter are ‘ready’ for the match in Gelsenkirchen on Wednesday.

“All the teams think the same way. We are fine, even physically,” Handanovic said at a press conference. “We are ready to give our best and then we don’t know where our best will take us.”

Inter arrived in the Europa League after finishing third behind Barcelona and Borussia Dortmund in Group F of the Champions League, and overcame Ludogorets in the round of 32 to schedule a clash with the La Liga side in the last 16.

Handanovic hasn’t conceded a goal in his last four Serie A matches and is confident the whole team will help him keep Getafe out this Wednesday.

“We are doing well mentally and physically, and we have shown it. We all care about keeping clean sheets, not only the goalkeeper and the defenders.”

“Our determination has grown; this will also be fundamental in this competition.”

The Slovenia international has kept 14 clean sheets across all competitions this season, but only once in Europe so far.
