Now Sky Italia’s Gianluca Di Marzio is reporting that Hamsik has decided to stay with Napoli for the 2018-19 season.
The Slovakian international will not go to war with the club to secure a move, and has instead happily committed his future to Napoli.
Hamsik should break the the club’s appearance record next season, as he’s currently only 11 games short of Giuseppe Bruscolotti’s record of 511.
He is already the Partenopei’s top-scorer, having surpassed the legendary Diego Maradona last season.
