Hamsik makes Mohawk pledge for Napoli Scudetto

Marek Hamsik has made a life-changing pledge to support his former teammates, promising to chop off his Mohawk if Napoli win the Scudetto.

Speaking to DAZN, the Slovakia legend was asked if he’d be prepared to cut off his iconic hair if he got to end his career at Napoli with a Serie A title.

“In that case, chop it off straight away!”

The 35-year-old is now playing for Trabzonspor and left Napoli in February 2019, but has certainly not forgotten his old club.

He wore their jersey for almost 12 years, making 520 competitive appearances, scoring 121 goals and providing 103 assists.

Hamsik won two editions of the Coppa Italia with Napoli and an Italian Supercup, but was never able to break the Scudetto taboo that lasted since the days of Diego Armando Maradona.

They seem close to achieving it this season and Hamsik is ready to take drastic action.
