Marek Hamsik joined Napoli directors and President Aurelio De Laurentiis for an institutional lunch with Barcelona executives on Wednesday.
The former Partenopei midfielder will attend tonight’s Champions League game at the Stadio Maradona, but his presence in Naples is unrelated to rumours of a possible appointment in Francesco Calzona’s staff.
As reported by DAZN on X, Hamsik joined De Laurentiis and Napoli directors for an institutional lunch meeting with Barcelona executives on Wednesday.
ADL praised Hamsik only a couple of days ago, saying that the ex-midfielder is a club legend having rejected chances to join Napoli rivals Milan and Juventus during his playing career.
