The Partenopei secured first place in their group last night, winning 2-1 at Benfica while Besiktas were thrashed 6-0 by Dynamo Kiev.
“It’s wonderful, we’re there in the second round thanks to a great match in Lisbon,” Hamsik wrote on his official website.

“We weren’t counting on help from Dynamo, we wanted to play a great match and rely on our own strength.
“We could have unlocked the match in the first half, but the goals game in the second. I want to thank the fans for their support in Lisbon too, they were great.
“The draw? There are interesting teams, but for a couple of weeks we won’t think about the Champions League, we have to concentrate on the League.”
