“I honestly didn’t expect Napoli to be this successful, although there was already some good material to work with last season,” Hamsik told Sky Sport Italia.
“Scudetto? We can believe if we continue to play well. There’s a very long way to go, so we can’t say, but if the results arrive and we keep playing like this, then we can believe in the title.”
Napoli go head-to-head with Serie A leaders Inter on Monday night.
“We are facing the top team, so it’ll be difficult, but we’re playing on home turf and will give it our all. We have become a very balanced side in every area. We are complete and must continue like this.”
