The Slovakia international has been brimming with excitement since Benitez moved on to Real Madrid, confirming the pair had a difficult rapport.
“Sarri is an exceptional Coach and I get on very well with him,” Hamsik told Sport paper in Slovakia.
“His ideas of football are very different to Rafa Benitez, so I won’t have to play with my back to goal anymore.

“We are trying to follow Sarri’s indications and I personally feel that he’s getting the best out of me now. I feel that with Sarri I can give more.
“I feel great physically and overcome last week’s slight aches. If Sarri wants, I can play on Saturday against Porto.
“Napoli’s objective this year is to win as many games as possible.”
