Alen Halilovic is reportedly on the verge of completing a free transfer to Milan and will sign a three-year contract.

The 22-year-old currently remains a Hamburg player, but his representatives are confident of doing a deal with the German club that will see him become a free agent.

Halilovic spent last season on loan at Spanish side Las Palmas, during which time his parent club were relegated from the Bundesliga for the first time in their history.

As such, they are looking to free up their wage bill as they adjust to life outside the top-flight.
