The tactician impressed at the World Cup and opted for Turkish side Trabzonspor, but was fired this morning.
“Taking the Trabzonspor job was a mistake,” he told Bosnian paper Dnevni Avaz.
“After the World Cup I had contact with Milan, a legendary club that is among the top European sides, but I turned them down because I had already given my word to Trabzonspor.
“I regret declining that offer now.”
