Achraf Hakimi and Lautaro Martinez’s agent admits ‘every player has his price’ and ‘if Inter are struggling, we’ll work out what to do.’

There have been multiple reports that Hakimi is the player who will be sacrificed this summer to balance the books, although the asking price is €80m rather than the €60m on offer from PSG.

“It’s not easy to emerge from a difficult situation caused by the pandemic, so I don’t think today it’s possible to say who will leave Inter in order to resolve it,” agent Alejandro Camano told Telelombardia.

“Achraf is very young, it was an intelligent choice for him to join Inter. When the transfer market opens, you receive calls for your players. If Inter are struggling, we’ll work out what to do.

“Our rapport with the club is good. As for Lautaro, if we didn’t agree a contract extension earlier, it’s because of the agents he was working with before.”

Inter are already transforming with Antonio Conte having terminated his contract by mutual consent, to be replaced by Simone Inzaghi.

“Now a new coach has arrived and we need to understand the sporting aspect of the situation. Hakimi still has four years on his Inter contract and Lautaro two,” continued Camano.

“I don’t know what will happen in future, but every player has his price. If those in Europe saw the way Inter played, I think they’d take all the players into consideration.”
