Now his current club appear to have conceded defeat, with Hajduk’s sporting director admitting that a deal is on the verge of completion.

“The transfer is agreed,” Goran Vucevic told Sportske Novosti.
“Mancini personally asked for Tino in Milan. Obviously every new player that arrives at Inter can close the door on Susic, but I don’t think there will be any problems.
“Now it’s up to Inter.
“The cost? There haven’t been any formal offers, so I can’t say anything for sure, but it could be a loan of €800,000, then €4.2m to make it permanent but that’s just speculation."
