Erling Haaland’s proposed to move to Manchester City will cost less than Juventus paid Fiorentina for Dusan Vlahovic in January, according to reports.
City announced that a deal to sign Haaland from Borussia Dortmund had been agreed, subject to personal terms.
Gianluca Di Marzio reports the fee is €60 million – which means it is €10m less than Juve paid Fiorentina up front, while the overall deal for the Serbia forward could be up to €80m.
However, it is worth noting Haaland is expected to earn a salary of €438,000-a-week while Vlahovic’s wages are around €130,000 per week.
Vlahovic joined Juve after scoring 20 goals in 24 matches across all competitions in the first half of the campaign for La Viola.
However, after a fairly bright start at Juve in which he scored on his club debut as well as on his Champions League bow for the club, he has entered a barren run and is now four matches without a goal.
In total, he has scored seven goals in 18 matches for his new club and was subbed off with 15 minutes left during the recent defeat to Genoa.
