Erling Braut Haaland’s Borussia Dortmund face Lazio this evening but the Norwegian striker could have joined the Biancocelesti in the past, reports Sky Sport.
Lazio are four points clear of third-placed Club Brugge in the Champions League group F and are one point behind table-leaders Borussia Dortmund who host Simone Inzaghi’s side this evening.
The Biancocelesti won the first-leg at the Stadio Olimpico 3-1 back in October.
Both Haaland and Ciro Immobile scored in that game. The Italian had played with BVB in the 2014-15 campaign and according to Sky Sport, Haaland could have played for Lazio in the past.
Igli Tare reportedly tried to sign the striker when he was playing for Molde in 2018.
Haaland left the Norwegian club to join RB Salzburg back in January 2019 and one year later he signed for Borussia Dortmund.
He has scored 33 goals in 32 appearances with the Bundesliga giants since last January.
