Viktor Gyokeres reportedly prefers joining Milan next summer rather than Chelsea or Arsenal.

The 25-year-old Sweden international has been in scintillating form in his first season at Sporting CP, scoring 32 goals in 35 appearances across all competitions.

He is among the strikers Milan are monitoring for next season and according to the latest report from GiveMeSport, Gyokeres has prioritised a move to the Stadio Meazza in 2024-25 rather than joining Chelsea or Arsenal who are also following him.

Sporting CP signed Gyokeres from Coventry for just €21m in the summer of 2023, but the striker now has a €100m clause in his contract with the Portuguese side.

Despite his desire to join Milan next season, it is understood that the Rossoneri have different priorities over the summer.

Multiple sources claim Bologna striker Joshua Zirkzee is Milan’s priority target for 2024-25, followed by RB Leipzig’s Benjamin Sesko.

Milan can keep an eye on Gyokeres today, given that the 25-year-old is expected to start against Atalanta in the first leg of the Europa League Round of 16.
