“I am happy with where I live, as life in Italy is pretty good, but football is completely different here,” Gustafson told Fotbollskanalen.

“If you have always played in Sweden, it’s normal you’ll need a little time to adapt. From the first training session I realised this was going to be very different. It was a Wednesday and that day I felt like I was going to die!

“In Italy I don’t just have to think about football, but also to learn the language. It is all new for me: the team, style of work and culture. This is a challenge I want to win.

“Against Roma the Coach made me warm up, but then I didn’t actually come on. It’s difficult to say when I’ll have my first game, but I live in hope.”
