The Germany international has been linked with the Old Lady for some time and has a deal with the Bundesliga outfit running until June 2017.
Bild reports today that the midfielder will definitely not sign a contract extension with Dortmund and should leave in the summer.

He’s believed to be a priority target for Juve, but the likes of Manchester City, Manchester United and Real Madrid are also interested in the €30m-rated star.
The German outlet also reports that Dortmund could challenge Juve for another target, Mahmoud Dahoud of Borussia Monchengladbach.
The central midfielder is reportedly on the Bianconeri’s radar, but Dortmund could make an approach to replace the outgoing Gundogan.
