Juventus target Ilkay Gundogan hasn’t committed to Borussia Dortmund – “a footballer’s career is short, anything could happen”.
The Bianconeri have been linked with the German international, though general manager Giuseppe Marotta has admitted that he won’t arrive in January.
The 25-year-old’s contract is up in June 2017, meaning he will enter the summer transfer window with just a year remaining.
“A renewal? No decision has been taken yet,” Gundogan told Bild.
“Of course, everything has to be evaluated properly, because a footballer’s career is short. Anything could happen.”
The midfielder also admitted that he is looking for a longer contract with his next deal.
“I think it will go into that direction. When I sign, it will most likely not be for just a year.”
