Francesco Guidolin concedes Udinese “would like to wipe out 20 minutes in the first half” that decided their defeat to Inter, but would turn down the Italy job.

The Nerazzurri had gone behind early on, but fought back to win 3-1 at the Stadio Friuli.

“We lost the game the moment we conceded the equaliser,” sighed Coach Guidolin. “We tried to immediately get back in front, but lost our balance and left far too much space at the back, so of course Inter punished us.

“We should’ve been more careful after the equaliser and not leave ourselves so open. In the second half only Udinese were playing and Inter focused entirely on the counter-attack. I would like to wipe out 20 minutes in the first half, when we completely lost our focus.”

With Lazio” data-scaytid=”49″>Lazio and Roma losing today, it was a great chance for Udinese to climb into third place, but instead they fall back in the race.

“Right now I am concentrated on the end of this season, because it’s not often that Udinese can reach the Champions League for two years running.”

Guidolin was also asked about rumours he could be given the Italy job if Cesare Prandelli joins Inter this summer.

“I don’t think that can happen, but if it did then I would thank the Federation and decline, because I am thinking about my Udinese and my own health. I’d consider all possibilities, of course, but would give the priority to this club.”
