Francesco Guidolin said he is “ready to start work at club level” after being linked with the Hellas Verona bench.
The former Udinese and Palermo tactician took time off to become a director at the Stadio Friuli, but resigned over the summer.
“I would like to be the Coach of a national team, as it’s something I have never done,” he told Radio Deejay.
“I am ready to start work at club level, I’m in form, studied other teams and am ready for a new adventure.

“However, as of today nobody has contacted me.”
Andrea Mandorlini is hanging by a thread at Verona, as they have failed to manage a single victory this Serie A season.
If they lose tomorrow’s relegation dogfight with Carpi, then it could be curtains for the Coach and Guidolin is the favourite to take over.
