“Di Natale? His choice was a life choice,” Guidolin told the press today. “He is one of the very top players in terms of having pure class.
“Whoever says he wouldn’t have done well at a big club is badly mistaken. In Spain he would have scored at least 25 goals a season.”
The 58-year-old then commented on young goalkeeping prodigy Simone Scuffet and his side’s season overall.
“I decided that Scuffet would start at Bologna in his first game within five seconds.
“I had doubts about Brkic but when he got injured I made the decision.
“Scuffet is polite, modest and is calm and collected. Di Iori, my Goalkeeping Coach and great friend, has helped a lot too.
