Guidolin's Bianconeri host Allegri's Rossoneri this Sunday afternoon at the Stadio Friuli, in what is a big game for both sides as they strive to recover from poor starts to the season.
Allegri is in particularly desperate need of a result having presided over two defeats in three Serie A games this season, with reports emerging earlier this week suggesting he would be sacked if his team failed to win in Udine.
The former Cagliari Coach also had to appear on Milan Channel today to deny reports of an argument with youth team boss Pippo Inzaghi.
“Allegri is at risk? Even I am at risk,” Guidolin stated in an interview with Udinese's official website. “We are at the bottom of the League, so I feel at risk.”
“Unfortunately this only happens in Italy. Allegri, a Coach who won the League title then finished second the following year, is under discussion after only three games…only in Italy.”
One Serie A Coach has already been fired this term, Giuseppe Sannino removed by Palermo President Maurizio Zamparini. Guidolin himself was fired by Zamparini three times during his various spells in charge of the Sicilians.
