The Zebrette host Sampdoria tomorrow, looking for the three points that would see them end the campaign on 46.

And the Coach has claimed that his men will be going all-out for the victory and end on a positive note.

“This season hasn’t been an exciting one for us,” he told a Press conference. “I might even say it’s been a negative one.

“Our ideal situation would be to keep introducing young players and climb the table, but that hasn’t been able to happen.

“We’ve been unable to repeat the finishes of the last few seasons, but our young players will be better off because of it.”

One of those youngsters, goalkeeper Simone Scuffet, wasn’t called up by Cesare Prandelli for Italy’s World Cup squad.

And the Coach has insisted that the teenager has the quality to go to a major tournament in the future.

“The lad has the ability, there’s no doubt about that. I’ve been amazed by his calmness under pressure.

“It’s sad because it would have been nice for him to go to the World Cup, but we have to respect Prandelli’s choices.”
