January signing Fredy Guarin has finally started training for his new club Inter, after recovering from injury.

The Colombian midfielder joined the Nerazzurri from Porto on deadline day this winter transfer window, but only begins working with his new teammates today. The 25-year-old has been on the sidelines since arriving in Italy because of a knee injury sustained back in November.

The €1m loanee, who Inter reportedly have an option to sign for a further €11m in the summer, is thought unlikely to feature for the Milanese this weekend against Atalanta but he could be included in the squad to face Juventus in Week 29.

During January, Guarin originally reportedly stated a desire to join the Turin side.
