The swap deal that was meant to involve Mirko Vucinic was blocked on Tuesday night by President Erick Thohir.
And the player is, apparently, unhappy with the hierarchy for stopping his transfer, and now wants to try and force his way out of the club.
Manchester United, Chelsea and Napoli have all been linked with signing Guarin during this transfer window.
